Why do people like customizing their mobile phones?

After fulfilling the desire of buying the latest mobile phone, comes another desire to make your handsets unique. After buying a mobile phone, mobile owners like to customize or personalise it by using mobile phone accessories. People are willing to pay for ringtones, wallpapers, and themes to make their mobile phones stand out from the rest. But do you know why do they spend money just to customise a piece of electronic equipment? One of the most compelling reasons is their obsession with their mobile phones. They like the portability of their mobile phones as they carry it wherever they want. They can bring it to a date, into movies, business meeting, on a vacation and wherever they wish to take it to.
Mobile users are starting to recognize that how essential mobile phone accessories are. They want to make their mobile phones as personal as possible to fit it in their standard way of living. They are aware that these mobile accessories can help them make their phone unique and are also an added protection.
Mobile accessories like ringtones have their own importance. If there were no ringtones, our mobile phones would be of no use. As the basic purpose of a mobile phone remains to make and receive calls on the move, without ringtones we would not have been able to fulfill this purpose. Another accessory is mobile games that provide entertainment on the go. Other accessories like mobile cases and covers give protection to your mobile phones.

These days you can find a huge number of online mobile shops offering exciting mobile accessories with the latest mobile phones at reasonable prices. Other amazing offers available are cheap mobile phones, special discounts, free mobile phones, free accessories and lots more.

So if you are an interested buyer of mobile phones and mobile phone accessories, just browse through the special offers and avail the best deal.

BlackBerry Connect comes to Palm

Palm and Research In Motion have announced a joint venture that will see the integration of BlackBerry Connect on Palms Treo 650 device and future models by spring 2006. BlackBerry Connect for the Treo 650 will allow BlackBerry Enterprise Servers running on both Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino email servers to push email and PIM data to Treo smartphones.

The BlackBerry architecture and infrastructure are recognized around the world as secure, manageable, reliable and scalable, and we are extremely pleased to broaden the choice of BlackBerry-enabled handsets with the Treo 650, said Jim Balsillie, chairman and co-CEO at RIM.

This week has already seen the announcement of BlackBerry Connect on three new Nokia models branded the E-Series due out early next year, so its no surprise to see RIM spreading their wings to other key handset manufacturers, especially those who, like Palm, are primarily focused on business users and mobile workers.

A Guide To 3G On Mobile Phones

A Guide To 3G On Mobile Phones3G stands for "3rd generation" technology. It is based on GSM standards and it is the latest improvement to mobile phone and cellphone capabilities. With it you can have broadband, video and multimedia on your phone. All of this means you can transmit and receive data at faster rates than ever before. It is the backbone of all the amazing new services that the various mobile operators are trying to entice new users with.

With 3G making video calls is now possible although images can still be jerky and not quite up to the standard you will be used to with digital video cameras. You can download to your mobile music videos and clips of TV shows, movie trailers and sports action. In general these kinds of services do work well since they aren't strictly interactive and have often been optimised to improve quality.Downloadable music is now a reality thanks to 3G. High quality MP3 tunes are instantly available and with a large enough memory card on your cell phone you can take your music with you wherever you go.One of the things which 3G has made possible is an ever expanding range of accessories and features. If is involves the receipt or sending of large data packets the mobile phone manufacturers have taken advantage of this to build into their phones extras that consumers now demand up front. These include megapixel cameras, large screens for display of contentArticle Search, expandable memory cards and smartphone features that turn the phone into an all purpose device. The convergence of mobile phones and electronic organizers has been speeded up thanks to the possibilities delivered by 3G.One of the key features enhanced by 3G has been mobile web surfing. With increased data transmission you now get broadband in the palm of your hand. One thing it is advisable to keep in mind though is the higher cost of bandwidth. It is a good idea to check the details of how much the data transfer will cost you especially if you plan to send or receive lots of bandwidth hogging video. Web browsing isn't quite as expensive since more and more sites are WAP friendly and optimised for fast delivery to mobile handsets.

By all means download and send but keep tabs on what that friendly 3G connection is costing you.So it is worth looking into upgrading to a 3G enabled phone and network It really can add entirely fresh dimensions to your mobile phone experience.
